Meet the Harpist
Marissa Selvig has been playing the harp since 1995 and playing professionally since 2001. She has performed all over the Minneapolis/St. Paul area from 2001-2010, the Wyoming, Colorado, Utah area from 2010-2023 and is now bringing the beautiful sounds of her harp music to the Lowcountry. You can find Marissa playing weekly at The Charleston Place Hotel in Downtown Charleston.

Whether you are planning a wedding, cocktail party, birthday celebration, funeral, ladies tea, church luncheon, or recording an album, adding harp music will elevate the atmosphere. Both Metallica and Debussy are graceful when played on the harp!
Musical Styles
Marissa can play almost any style of music you could request.
Classical, Sacred, Celtic, Pop, R&B, Country, Broadway, Oldies, Rock, Classic Rock, Yacht Rock, Contemporary Worship, New Age, TV and Movie themes, Video game themes, etc. A song list is available by request.
Harp Duo
Although Harp is fabulous all by itself, it also lends itself very well to accompanying other solo instruments and vocalists. Marissa can help make your dream event a reality if you are interested in hiring a second musician.
Meet the Harps
Marissa has three different harps for you to choose from for your event.
The Concert Grand
A big harp with a grand sound! It can be amplified. Not suited for tiny spaces or weddings in the sand.
The Custom Fischer Harfe
A Medium sized harp with bright sound. It can be amplified. Not suited for weddings in the sand.
The Sparkly Gold "Harpy"
Let's call her "Golden Sparkles." The perfect harp for beach weddings, little spaces and graveside services. It is designed to be amplified, and to be worn.
